Take it with a Grain of Salt....

 

I'm not typically one to go for phrases or sayings as home decor but I do love this beautiful "Take it with a Grain of Salt" print from the Etsy shop OnePlusOneDesign. I think it's the simplicity of it and the hand written look that I like the best. Amazing!

I'm sweet on sweetestelle.....

My latest order from the awesome shop sweetestelle. I loooooooove this shop! So much so that I could easily buy one of every listing if I didn't watch myself. This time around I got some awesome striped cupcake liners (my favourite), some paper straws and the wonderful Jennifer threw in some Jumbo Candy Hearts too. She's awesome! I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with all of this but I do have a few birthday parties coming up in the next few months so I'm sure I'll put them to good use. Eeeee, can't wait!

PonderandStitch....

Right out of the envelope.

Look what arrived in my mailbox last week! I have been in love with the Etsy shop PonderandStitch since just after it opened. I've been eyeing a custom embroidery cuff for awhile that I wanted to get my kids names put on but figured I'd better wait till I was official done having kidlets. Well the other day I wondered over to find an item for a treasury and what did I see but this amazing necklace! Next thing I know my eye caught sight of a cuff in the cutest fabric and I was sold. I am now the proud owner of two of the most amazing pieces. I'd also like to add that I've never received anything packaged so nicely! The card, the box, the string, all wonderful!

This shop really is awesome and Amy, the shop owner is so nice she ever adjusted the cuff down in size a bit so that it would fit my wrist perfectly! This shop has many fun items that would make great Christmas gifts. Be sure to give it a look see.

I love the product photos in the super fun shop moonstation on Etsy. I love the crisp, clean look but most of all I love how the majority of the photos are displayed upside down! It's so visually pleasing and interesting to look at! I especially like the sweet little owl who looks like he's peeking in on you! Be sure to check this shop out!

Rainbow Shoes....

Aren't these the most fantastical shoes ever?! I so wish my feet were smaller. Size 6 just isn't going to work! Bah! My team mate grain introduced me to these shoes through a wonderful treasury she created. The shoes themselves can be fund in the awesome shop danadaisys (aka concetta's closet) on Etsy.

Owls and Ice Cream....

Today started off on a grouchy note but then I saw the wonderful shop fruitflypie on Etsy and I started to feel better. How could you not just looking at these bright, cheery and fun items. The ceramics are fantastic and there are so many different ones to choose from such as soap dishes, trinket boxes, money banks, lanterns, planters, cookies jars, etc. Be sure to visit this shop. I promise you it'll brighten your day!

New in the Shop....

 While the Canada Post strike/lockout was on I found myself with a lot more time which ending up being a great thing because I came up with more designs for my shop...

 I now have Chevron Wall Art Prints in my shop in 6 different colours. Prints are 5.5" x 5.5" square and are made with textured white cardstock. You can see all 6 here.

I also added 4 new Wall Art Animal Prints to my shop, Marvin the Monkey, Carol the Kitty Cat, Russel the Rabbit and Simon the Seal. Animal Wall Art Prints are 5.5" x 5.5" square and are made with textured white cards stock. You can see them all here.

Vintage Brass Statues....

MIA....

I've been mia the last few days and I apologize! My husband went on a golf trip this past weekend and while he was gone my parents came to visit. We've been busy hanging curtain rods and pictures around the house. It's been great to get some of these things off the to do list! One of the pictures we hung was the lovely little birdie you see above. I purchased him from the awesome shop junecraft on Etsy. He is now hanging in my office and looking rather handsome. 

I also purchased this fantastic print from junecraft. Unfortunately he has yet to find a home but soon! This house has so many walls and I have commitment issues when it comes to putting holes in them but we're getting there!

Paper, Charity and an Etsy Craft Party....

This paper will be turned into Birthday Cards for Santa's Secret Service this Friday as part of the 2011 Etsy Craft Party. This is the second year the Alberta Street Team will be hosting a craft party and the second year we'll be making cards for this organization. Santa's Secret Service gives out Christmas and Birthday gifts to seniors who don't have any family. I've been making cards for SSS for a number of years so I'm more than happy to donate some paper and get a few more hands volunteering for this great organization!

Isn't that pile of paper pretty? Well it's going to be a lot prettier once some wonderful crafters get to it Friday Night. I'll be sure to share some after shots with you all! Anyone else participating in the Etsy Craft Party in your part of the world?
