I love many shops on Etsy as you well know but occasionally I come across one that blows me away. nidhi did just that. The wonderful illustrations in the shop just make me smile. I especially love the perspective in the two illustrations below. Be sure to check this sweet shop out!

The Kings Speech.....

Yay for The Kings Speech which had a great night at the Oscars yesterday winning Best Picture among other awards (double yay for Colin Firth!). I absolutely love this movie, every part of it include the sets which I was fascinated with as I watched the movie. I wondered if they were made to look like theatre sets as they gave off that impression. Well Melanie at You Are My Fave sent me a link this weekend that made me jump for joy. The doctors office is a real place! Real!!!! It's a Georgian Townhouse located in Central London and you can actually rent it out (for a pretty penny I'm sure but still!). You can even take a look at the floor plans for the entire building. Check out the doctors office on page 3 which is officially called "Distressed Room". It's just so wonderful to know that amazing places like this actually exist in the world! Thank you Melanie for sharing this with me!

Yummy for the Eyes....

Today I have two amazing photographs to share with you. I just came across the shop Magalerie (translation: My Gallery) on Etsy and I am so in love. The shop location is Paris France. I'm not sure if I've ever shared this with you but I spent a month in Paris when I was in University for an Art History course and I kinda fell in love with the city. So this shop is right up my alley!

I'm sharing the above cola bottle photograph with you because they are my favourite chewy candies. I love, love, love them! I'm sharing the bottom photograph with you because while I have never had a macaron this print is so delicious looking I want to take a bite out of my computer screen!

I Call Do Over!

I'm gobsmacked! I call dover! I want to get married again and I want my wedding to look exactly like this one found (via You Are My Fav) on the wonderful wedding site Wedding Chicks! There isn't one thing I don't love about this wedding. Bridesmaid dresses - amazing, picnic procession - ingenious, soda/lemonade bar - delicious, and the trailer....oh the trailer. Can I have one? Pretty please!!

Oh my word, I had died on gone to paper heaven! Check out this super fun and creative idea for gift wrap. No traditional ribbon here! I first spotted this amazing creation on Paper Crave but you can get the full DIY on good old Martha Stewart. I'm off to try this bad boy out!

Ridiculous!

These are ridiculous! Ridiculous! I love them. They're made entirely of paint chips. Bah! I love that someone's mind can see the amazing potential in paint chips! The someone I speak of is Matthew Sporzynski who created these amazing pieces for Sherwin Williams new campaign. Cuckoo for Cuckoo Clocks!

So darn cute! I'm in love with these fun Wall Hanging Cuckoo Clocks that come on a bristol board or wood panel. Adorable and such a great twist on the original! You can find these and other great clocks in the shop DecoyLab on Etsy.

Crayon Art

Oh my word you have got to be kidding me! These crayon sculpture are amazing! I'm totally blown away! The wonderful artist Diem Chau was commissioned by Wieden + Kennedy to carve 66 crayons for this year's Nike World Cup press kits. Only 11 kits (see below) were made. I can't get over that this is even possible. I wish I was one of the lucky kit recipients! You can see more about the kits and photos by clicking here.

How to Potty Train Your Monster

Well that dreaded time has reached us here in our home. I am proud to say that I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing but thankfully there are some great resources out there to keep you going. The lovely, funny, wonderful book, How to Potty Train Your Monster by Kelly DiPucchio is the perfect example. The book goes through the 10 basic steps of potty training and has the most wonderful illustrations by Michael Moon! I'm in love with this book and will gladly read it daily to my wee boy. Now if actual potty training could be this fun we'd be somewhere! To all those parents who are in the same shoes I wish you luck and advise getting this book. : )

Wire Art!

Her shop is filled with letters and numbers all made out of wire and her photography is adorable. I could totally see these on top of birthday cakes or better yet, wedding cakes! Perfect!
