I love The Far Side. I used to have this cartoon on a t-shirt. In fact it's become a bit of a family joke. Whenever one of us does something on the dumb side someone else will say "Midvale School for the Gifted!". Okay maybe you had to be there but either way it's a hilarious cartoon! The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 12 Days of Christmas Videos

I'm so excited today to be starting a little (12 day to be exact) project with fellow blogger Lesley at Smidgebox. We recently discovered a shared liking for classic christmas videos, a sort of kindred christmas spirit if you'd like! We've been sharing some cheesy, classic, and darn right good videos with each other and decided it was necessary to share them with our lovely readers :)

I present to you The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 12 days of Christmas Videos. Lesley and I will be posting videos to our blogs on alternating days from now until Dec 24 (weekdays only). I'm kicking us off today with with Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christmas Time. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Can you say yum?! I think I might try my hand at making this sweet treat for the Holidays. I'm a little scared as candy making freaks me out but the recipe seems fairly straight forward. All you can do is try right? Wish me luck!

And look what was inside. This pretty pink notecard with matching envelope.

I'm totally smitten and am so excited to send it off to one lucky person.

Getting mail that's not a bill or advertisement is just the best. I'm so glad it's Christmas card season. I'll be sending my cards off to family and friends this year.....will you?

We went for a walk in the snow. It started raining here this morning and then the rain turned into giant, fluffy snowflakes. They're calling for sun and plus 7 (celcius) this afternoon. Crazy fall weather!
