Aren't these the most fantastical shoes ever?! I so wish my feet were smaller. Size 6 just isn't going to work! Bah! My team mate grain introduced me to these shoes through a wonderful treasury she created. The shoes themselves can be fund in the awesome shop danadaisys (aka concetta's closet) on Etsy.

Road Trip.....

 I found the super fun shop RetroRoadsidePhoto on Etsy last night. The photos are amazing and I love that while it's a photography shop there's a very distinct theme and a great one at that! Be sure to check this wonderful shop out. Have a great weekend everyone!

Advice....

Okay! I need some advice. If you were to purchase a bound calendar from my shop and the coil arrived looking like it does in the picture above would you be happy or not so happy? It's not a perfect circle but I'm not sure I can get it any better. Please honestly tell me if you'd be okay with the coil like this or if you'd be disappointed that it wasn't perfect. Thank you!!!!! I really appreciate your input!

Sorry for the non-post yesterday. I was recovering from all the Harry Potter fun over the weekend. The movie was fantastic. I highly recommend it! I'm a big Harry Potter fan. I've read all the books numerous times and I own all the movies. This weekend we're going to be visiting my parents and celebrating my brothers birthday. What are we doing? Going to see the last Harry Potter movie! I'm so excited and also kind of sad! I'll be okay though. : ) 

I found some awesome Harry Potter inspired recipes on babble.com today including the two above. I was thinking I might be the best sister ever and try to make some Butterbeer this weekend for my brother. Then I saw the cooking instructions and realized that I am not that talented. Sorry Elliot!

Today started off on a grouchy note but then I saw the wonderful shop fruitflypie on Etsy and I started to feel better. How could you not just looking at these bright, cheery and fun items. Very First Newsletter.....

Well I just sent out the very first Crafted by Lindy newsletter. Eeep! I'm crossing my fingers that everything is spelt correctly and that all the links are working. Mailchimp was interesting to learn and I still have a lot to figure out but it was fun! I'm hoping to send out two newsletters a month but it'll depend on if I have anything interesting to say or not. : )

I was introduced to the wonderful blog Simply Grove by my friend Kristin of Inspired Designer. Ever since I've been more than hooked. Simply Grove is an "interior design and decor blog written by Kirsten Grove.". It's visually pleasing, it's inspiring, it's personal and it's fun!

Kirsten has many wonderful reoccuring posts on her blog. My favourite is "Share with the class". Kirsten will post a photo of a room and simply ask her readers what their favourite feature in the room is and what their least favourite feature is. I love how this post makes you think. Sometimes I know right away what my answers are and other times I have to really study the photo first. I love how sometimes I'm even surprised by my own answers. It's a fantastic feature and I love reading every one's comments. I've included some photos she's shared with the class recently. You can see many more here.

Be sure to check out Simply Grove and often as Kirsten posts a lot, another thing I love!

New in the Shop....

 While the Canada Post strike/lockout was on I found myself with a lot more time which ending up being a great thing because I came up with more designs for my shop...

 I now have Chevron Wall Art Prints in my shop in 6 different colours. Prints are 5.5" x 5.5" square and are made with textured white cardstock. You can see all 6 here.

I also added 4 new Wall Art Animal Prints to my shop, Marvin the Monkey, Carol the Kitty Cat, Russel the Rabbit and Simon the Seal. Animal Wall Art Prints are 5.5" x 5.5" square and are made with textured white cards stock. You can see them all here.

 I have a new line of 7 cards in my shop! Sweet Sayings such as "Oh Sugar, Sugar", "Cheeky Bugger" and "Be Mine Sunshine". You can see all 7 designs here.

6 new Animal Happy Birthday Greeting Cards were also added to the shop, Monkey, Cat, Seal, Zebra, Rabbit, and Bear. You can see them all here.
