Our Dirt

My husband and I bought some land recently. Yikes! I don't think I've mentioned this yet. It's been a bit of a whirl wind. We weren't looking to move but thought perhaps sometime in the next two years we might have to upgrade to a bigger house. A little while back we walked into some show homes and 6 weeks later we signed papers. Yikes! We never wanted to build and we never wanted to move to the outskirts of our city and now we're doing both. It's scary. I'm going to miss this little house that we live in now, mostly the neighbourhood but I'm excited for something new. I'm looking forward to a bit of an adventure. A bit I said! haha! The last couple of weeks have been filled with design meetings which have kept us very busy. It's going to be an interesting process. Yikes! The above picture is of our dirt. The day we took this it was raining pretty hard so excuse the gloomy look. I'm sure I'll be sharing more pictures as the process moves on. We should be taking possession the end of March/beginning on April. If I haven't already said it....Yikes! : )
