Hand Art

My dad sent me an email recently. Most forwards I quickly delete I admit but this one caught my attention. Attached were photos from AT&T "Hands" Campaign that blew me away. The campaign was created by BBDO. Hands were painted to look like iconic images from countries all over the world by Italian artist Guido Daniele. These images are so detailed it's amazing. I had to stare really hard at a few of them to figure out that they were in fact hands. Amazing!

Oh I have been such the blog slacker lately and I'm so sorry. Life has gotten in the way I'm afraid. Crayon Art

Oh my word you have got to be kidding me! These crayon sculpture are amazing! I'm totally blown away! The wonderful artist Diem Chau was commissioned by Wieden + Kennedy to carve 66 crayons for this year's Nike World Cup press kits. Only 11 kits (see below) were made. I can't get over that this is even possible. I wish I was one of the lucky kit recipients! You can see more about the kits and photos by clicking here.

Oh my goodness I'm so in love with this steel wall sculpture that I just found via the blog Making It Lovely. It's fantastic and I want one. The sculpture can be found at Crate and Barrel.

Up Up and Away

This print makes me so happy. I just smile everytime I see it! This wonderful print and many, many more beautiful images can be found in the awesome shop Trafalgar's Square on Etsy.

Cheese that makes me go mmmmmmm.......

This adorable idea makes me wish I wasn't allergic to cheese. Of course I could always come up with something else to wrap in fun fabric but these little mini cheeses are just too sweet. This super cute idea was thought up for Mother's Day over on the wonderful blog Twig and Thistle but they could also be used for baby and wedding showers, parties, or just a fun Sunday brunch! I know for a fact that if I walked into an event that had vintage umbrellas and crystals to resemble rain drops hanging from the ceiling I would pass out from sheer delight! Oh my goodness!
