I heart Maria Lang

Back in September we got some family photos taken by a Calgary photographer, Maria Lang. They turned out fantastic and exactly what we wanted. The session was very relaxed and the photos were not posed, everything was very laid back. We are very happy with how they turned out. Here are just three out of about 50. More to come.....

I WON!!!

I've posted about ECOJOT before. A few months ago I found their products in Chapters and fell in love with them. Well a few days ago I entered a contest to win two 2009 workbooks and I WON! I'm so excited. Below is a picture of the new Peacock design which I'm getting and the other workbook is going to be a surprise. I'll post a picture when I get them. It's been a crazy few months and this is just a wonderful happy surprise. Woo hoo!

Cupcake love!

I've been slightly obsessed with cupcakes lately. They're just so cute! I bought a Wilton cake decorating set a few months ago and ever since I've been swirling up cupcakes big time. I made these ones for my friends baby shower last weekend. First time making the chocolate icing. It was oh so delicious!

Etsy Finds

I love Etsy. It's just so fun to look around and see what creative products people have come up with. Here are a few finds I just came across last night and thought I'd share.

I'm slightly obsessed with giant letters lately. Just slightly.....haha.

I love these letters. I now they'd only look this good if I kept them this way rather than scattered around my house but still.....love them!

Cutie Patootie

I'm hosting a baby shower for a friend on Nov. 15th. I made these invitations up this week. Cards are so interesting to me. You start out with one idea and it changes into something completely different. I had no intension what so ever in making Jungle themed cards but that's what came out and I love them! I had to share.

Halloween

Aden had his first Trick or Treating adventure this year. I took him to the mall in the afternoon and he ran around in his costume and checked out all the other kids that were dressed up. Then after dinner we took him around to the neighbours houses. He had a great time and when he was given his first piece of candy he threw it. Classic. We only went to 5 houses but it took us half an hour just to do that because Aden kept stopping to check out every leaf and twig that was on the ground. Crazy kid!
