My absolute favourite size for cards is 4" x 4". Unfortunately finding envelopes for this size isn't the easiest task at least not in Canada. So I buy them from the States and thanks to my MIL these pretties showed up today. Three hundred 4.25" x 4.25" white envelopes. I can't wait to use them except that they are such a precious commodity to me it's going to be hard to part with them. I'm just going to keep saying over and over "they're meant to be used, they're meant to be used.". Wish me luck!
Since I can't eat the stuff I might as well enjoy looking at it. Stupid ice cream. haha!
Oh these Maples make me giggle. I am totally smitten. They measure approximately 3.5 inches tall and 2 inches wide, are made of maple (go figure), are painted with acrylic and coated in wax and come in a wide variety including these two beauties, Mustachioed Maple Wooden Toy (top picture) and Star Trek Maple Custom (bottom picture). Oh I am so in love with this paper wreath by SimpleJoysPaperie on Etsy. These beautiful wreaths are approximately 16" in diameter and are made from books that are falling apart, missing pages or are damaged in some way. This particular wreath is made from pages of a book called From a College Window. You can see this wreath by clicking here.
This weekend I heard the songs Mykonos and Blue Ridge Mountains both by Fleet Foxes and I sort of fell in love. Fleet Foxes sounds like Crosby, Stills and Nash or America. I love their sound and can't get enough. Click on the song titles above to hear samples.
